I have many many virtues. Well, a few. But patience (specifically patience with computers) is not one of them. I especially do not have patience with browsers that don't load pages quickly enough for my liking, which means that I particularly don't like IE7 (oh how I long for IE6 again!) or Firefox. What it also means is that I've been swearing like the dickens (and we're talking long strings of practically every curse word known to man), which is actually kind of surprising since I generally don't swear much at all. And it occurred to me that if I had to put money into a jar for every time I swore these days, I'd have me a whole pile of cash by now!
Moral of the story other than that I should try Google Chrome? Don't know. Also don't know why my cursing below turned so colourful (I swear I didn't do it), but it seems appropriate somehow. ;)

I don't even know what those things are other than when you've mentioned them and other than Firefox which is what I have. And I'm not sure I really understand what they even are, but I do understand frustration with slow moving internet. My beloved old laptop is still going, but there's lots of stuff I can't do with it because it just simply won't load. Sometimes I feel like I'd throw it across the room. But I'd never really do that! :) Good luck with yours. You need it to be running faster/smoother for your blogs and stuff.

IE (Internet Explorer) and Firefox are browsers that enable you to get to different sites, kind of like how a car brings you to different places. But if you have a clunker of a car or not enough gas, well then you sometimes get stuck. Not sure if that's a good analogy but... ;)

Actually, it is a perfect analogy. I understand entirely now.
